Anti-Doping Policy
Anti-doping testing has been a top priority for the INBF/WNBF for over 30 years!
The core value of our reputation is strict adherence to rigorous drug testing. It is us extremely important ensure that all athletes are drug free in order to ensure fair competition at all events. We are most proud of announce that we have over 7,000 urine test results on file in 2020!!
The use of drugs is strictly prohibited.
Prior to their first competition, all INBF/WNBF athletes must be 10 years free of prescribed hormones on the prohibited substance list, and two years free of over-the-counter, prohormonal hormones
or listed prohibited substances and/or their chemical equivalents, unless otherwise noted.
It is the athlete's responsibility to verify and compare the list of prohibited substances with the list of supplement ingredients before consuming them.

INBF and WNBF Steroid and Diuretic Testing Policies and Procedures comply with the Prohibited Substance List by the Portuguese Anti-Doping Authority (ADoP) and World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
Consent for anti-doping testing:
By becoming a member, the INBF / WNBF athlete consents to urine testing during the events and/or randomly during the period of membership. Athletes who do not follow the stipulated rules will be banned indefinitely.
Medication prescribed for health reasons:
At no time is it justified to use a dosage higher than that prescribed by the doctor, much less prescribed in order to obtain better results in competition. In the event that an athlete is required to take medication that is on the list, the athlete must submit an up-to-date medical statement at all events he participates in.
